As part of one of the largest over-the-counter weight loss drug launches, GlaxoSmithKleine needed substantial documentation, diet information and general content to be put into five separate books, along with the drug’s packaging. Working in collaboration with IDEO, these books, their content, photography and illustration were developed under strict FDA oversight. The books were designed to work as a system, with color playing a major role in their design for the alli launch.
